I recently received a Title Agency Bond from you. I mailed the signed bond directly to the State, but they are telling me that they never received the original bond. What do I do? Can you send out another original bond?

We can send out a duplicate original to you. There will be a small fee for doing this. I would recommend that in the furure you send the bond to the state by some sort of trackable mail. That way you can see if someone in the state does get it and it was signed for.

Yes, it will have the same exact bond number as the original. You will notice; however, that "duplicate original" will be indicated at the top of the bond. |

I had a Duplicate Original issued and submitted it to the State. Soon after, the first bond I mailed had been returned to me by the post office. What should I do with this bond now that the Duplicate Original has already been filed?

I would call your agent and tell them that you just got the original bond returned to you. At that point they should ask you to return the original bond to our office so we can destroy it. The Surety Company frowns on having two bonds outstanding with the same bond number.
