    Getting Surety Bond Released

    Hello Everyone,
    I Have A Question About Getting A Guardianship Bond Released.
    I Had Guardianship Of My Mom For 3 Months Last Year Before She Passed Away, It's Been 10 Months. I Recently Got The Bill For Renewal, Can I Ignore That Or Do I Have To Go Back Through The Court To Release It??

    You don't say what state this is in but the first thing you should do is ask the agent you got the bond from. More than likely, you will just need to provide a copy of the final accounting you filed with the probate court. It depends on the state.
