Default Colorado To Require $100,000 Surety Bond for Mortgage Brokers

Mortgage brokers in the state of Colorado have had the luxary of not having to post a surety bond to obtain their license. It looks like that will be changing in the near future. The state is proposing that mortgage brokers must post a $100,000 bond to help protect the state against fraud.
