How does one find out if a public official is bonded, and how does one find out what company provides the offical bond?
    Thank you

You can check with the local government to see if they require a bond of their public officials. If they don't require one of them, then you have your answer

GOING AFTER HIS MONEY - County, bonding firm suing Bobby J to recoup extort $$$

This example shows how the public official is ultimately held personally responsible. As a resident of that county during part of his storied tenure, its good to see it pursuing a sound surety bond claim indemnity strategy on behalf of the taxpayers.
