    Sole Proprietor to Corporation

    Im bonded and a sole proprietor but am thinking of changing to a corporation for tax purposes. Does this affect my bond status?

    Bond Status

    One thing that will definitely need to be changed is your indemnity agreement. Sole Proprietorships are generally the individual's name dba company name. If you are going to incorporate - that will be a name change.
