Default Collection/Processing Claim for Surety Bond

I am trying to indentify the costs(time, money, etc) of filing a claim against a Surety Bond or to accept the settlement offered and be done with it.

I would also like to know the means by which my company is able to file a claim against the bond.

On the agency side, we don't deal with claims. Fortunately, we have a forum member that is a claims expert. I messaged him for you to see if he can chime in.

But unfortunately, I am also an expert witness. This means that anything I write here can, and probably will, be used against me.

mking1, for this: "I would also like to know the means by which my company is able to file a claim against the bond," I suggest that you use the "Search" function above. This kind of question has been previously asked and answered here on the forum.
