A Performance & Payment bond covers the entire contract. At the completion of the project, we will often request the Obligee (owner) to complete a General Status Inquiry indicating completion and providing the final contract amount (including change orders). If there are changes, you would probably be billed for the additional premium to cover the change orders. I hope that answers your question.
