Maintenance Bond

I have a performance bond which is about to be released. I wiil need a 1 year maintenance bond after the release. Is this included in my original performance bond at no extra cost?

Most Surety companies will allow issuance of a one year maintenance bond at no premium. That's assuming that they wrote the original performance bond. If, however, you need a two year maintenance bond, there would be a small fee.
