Default Is this a Performance Bond?

I don't know much about performance bonds. Let me give you a scenario and will you tell me what type of insurance I need? I have a personal assistant company. What type of bond insurance should we get to let our client's know that if we screw something up they are protected. For instance, let's say we pick up a client's car to change the oil for them and get in an accident. Would a performance bond cover that? Or, let's say we are supposed to watch their house while they are out of town and we screw something up like flood their house. Or, let's say we are supposed to pay their bills but forget about a certain bill?

It sounds to me like most of these scenarios would be covered by your insurance - and not any type of bond. You could get a fidelity bond that would protect you and your customers in the event an employee steals from them, but the other situations you mentioned would be insurance related. I would suggest contacing the agency with whom your business insurance is handled.
