Default Bonds for home inspectors

I'm a licensed home inspector and have spoken with other home inspectors that say they are "bonded." I'm not sure what this means. What types of bonds would you recommend for home inspectors?

If the government is not requiring the bond then you are referring to a fidelity bond, which is more of an insurance product. You can post any questions about fidelity bonds in the Fidelity Bond Forum
You can apply online at the following link: Fidelity Bond Application

If the government is requiring the bond for your license then you are referring to a license bond. You can post any questions about license bonds in the License Bond Forums.
