    Is there such a bond?

    Hello,
    I am building a house, and the owner is requiring me to have a performance bond to guarantee that I build the house in a timely manner, etc. Is there such a bond that will cover this? Or is that what a contract is for?

    Technically, this would be a performance bond. However, being that it is a private job, I do not know of any bonding companies that would be willing to write it.
