    $2,000,000 Contractor License Bond

    I need a $2,000,000 Contractor License bond in the state of NC. Can you help me? Why is the amount so high?

    We have heard that some state's are requiring these very high license bonds to keep out-of-state contractors from working in their states. It is doubtful that you can get a bond this high - regardless of your credit. I would verify with the state that this amount is required.
