What good is an original concessionaire bond if the continuation bonds (extension) are released? For example, the original from 1998 is kept, the continuation bonds (1999 - 2006) that have expired are released, and the unexpired bond (2007) is kept.

Would I be able to collect collateral, if needed, using the original bond and the most recent unexpired continuation bond? or is it worthless?
