I need to send in my licensing papers to the State and they are asking for bond information. Can you just go ahead and give me the insurance company's name and the bond number so I can get filed?

Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. The state is going to require the original bond, not just the policy number and carrier. The original bond will be signed by a surety rep. and have a power of attorney attached. It also needs to be signed by your company as well. Keep in mind, bonds are not insurance, rather they are a three party agreement.
