| Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. The state is going to require the original bond, not just the policy number and carrier. The original bond will be signed by a surety rep. and have a power of attorney attached. It also needs to be signed by your company as well. Keep in mind, bonds are not insurance, rather they are a three party agreement.
