| I am in the process of applying for a auto dealer bond. They are requiring that my wife sign the agreement along with me (which is no problem), but becuase of this, they also need her social security number. Well, she has just moved here from the Philippines and we are recently married, so we are still in the process of filing her paperwork and she doesn't have a SSN yet. Will I be able to get this bond without providing her SSN? |

| A handful of the bonding companies we represent will require the spouse to personally indemnify, but do not go as far as pulling the spouse's credit. Therefore, a social security number is not necessary when going through these markets. I would suggest being up front with your agent about the current situation so they can properly. You can apply for an mvd bond with us, if you haven't already.
