    surety bond question

    I want to get my used car dealer license to buy cars at autions, but I was reading a would need a surety bond? Do I have to apply before I try to get my license or after? Thanks a lot.

    First, review all of the state requirements to make sure you can meet them. Next, obtain the necessary paperwork to apply for your license. Then, apply for the dealer bond. Finally, send in all your paperwork, including the original bond to the state for review.
