| I currently have an auto dealer bond that I've filed with the State. Now I need to get a seperate dealer license bond that the local township requires to operate within it's municipality. If I file this second bond with them, will it void my current bond with the State? |

Absolutely not - you can have two bonds with two different obligees. Feel free to submit another application on our website. |

Check with your agent - it's possible that the township will accept a generic license & permit bond form. Your agent can provide you with a copy so you can submit it to the Township to see if they will accept it. |

What if the bond is issued on a generic license & permit bond form and submitted to the obligee, then it turns out that there is a special bond form that they have on file? |

That's why I suggested that the Obligee be shown the generic bond form to be sure they will approve. If, even after running it by the Obligee, there are special forms, we would have to make Surety is ok with them and would then issue a new bond - but the old one would have to be returned. |
