Mtg. Broker Failure and Bond Payment to debtors

I worked for a company that recently failed and is refusing to pay the June 30,2006 payroll. (I am owed over 16k for the 6-30-06 bi-weekly payroll.)

What are my options to recover my lost pay? Claim against the bond? If so... how?

I have contacted the Dept. of Labor, Commissioner of Banks and am awaiting call backs.

    Thanks.

To my knowledge, states with bond requirements for mortgage brokers do not mention anything about the guarantee of payment for employees.

Unfortunately, you may need to contact an attorney in order to resolve the issue for you.
