Default Recent Economy

I recently had my renewal come up for my Mortgage Broker Bond but decided not to renew due to buisness being so poor. With all that is happening with the American economy, and more specifically the mortgage crisis, how will this affect the process of renewing Mortgage Bonds and future companies looking to apply for Mortgage Broker Bonds?

As of right now the Surety Business for Mortgage Brokers has not changed too much. The rates may be changing a bit but not all that drastic if your credit is good. Some Surety Companies are backing out of doing Mortgage Broker Bonds but there are still a good handful of companies that will take the risk for these guys. I recommend when you are ready to get back into the business that you call our office and speak to the mortgage representative. We still have many markets that will look at that bond for you.
