    How can I find out if a specific mortgage broker has obtained a bond or not?

    The easiest way to find out if a Mortgage Broker has a bond is to call the state. You can usually speak to someone who will confirm if the Broker has a bond in place. Some states also have an online listing of all licensed and bonded Mortgage Brokers but you will need to contact someone in the state to get the link.
