    Different Rate?

    If I shop around to different brokers for better bond rates won't my bond cost be similiar?

    Well, not necessarily. Different brokers (or agents) may have different programs. For instance, we have a very aggressive program for mortgage broker bonds that other agents may not have access to. Just a word of caution though - by shopping around a lot for your best price, it could adversely affect your credit. If agents are not using soft credit reporting, your score will take big hits every time your credit is pulled.
