    Bond Claim

    I am a contractor in PA and have had a license bond for 10 years. I had a claim against my bond and the Surety company paid the claim. The surety company then came after me for payments. I have just satisfied my last payment to the Surety company.
    What do I have to do to get a new bond for my license? Will this be at all possible?

    There are bonding companies that will still consider writing your bond, but it will be an uphill battle for an approval. Your willingness to pay back the previous surety will certainly help, but is in no way a guarantee that you can be bonded again.
