    hard to obtain bond

    I applied for a surety bond about six years ago it was very easy to obtain a bond. How come the premiums are so much higher now? Why is it so difficult to obtain a bond?

    The surety bond market has changed dramatically in the past couple years. One of our agents wrote an article about it in our blog. He wrote about performance bonds, but I think you will see how it applies to all bonds.
