Default Spouse's Signature

I am concerned as to why my spouse has to sign the Indemnity Agreement even though she has nothing to do with my company. Does she have to sign?

Your spouse may not have anything to do with running the business, but she does have partial ownership unless a prenuptual agreement was created saying otherwise.

Also, if your own spouse is willing to personally guarantee you, why would a bonding company want to? It is very rare for a surety not to ask for personal indemnification of the owner(s) and their spouse.
