Immigration Bond

I am looking for the new $50k NY Immigration Bond for my business and after contacting the state - they have told me that the bond IS required but they do not have a bond on file. What can I do? I NEED this bond

I would recommend calling the state back and asking them for a copy of a bond that they accepted in the past. They may be able to cross out the information on a bond they have on file and get a copy to you. We must have a copy of the bond so we can get the approval from the Surety Company prior to writing your bond.

I have contacted the state and since this is a new requirement - there is no bond form to speak of. Is there a generic bond form that I could use?

We do have a generic license bond form on file if the state does not have their own bond form. You will need to submit the bond form to the state for approval. If they say it is ok to use, we can issue the bond on the generic form.
