| I was wondering how do I record a silver surety bond. I tried contacting the Orange County Clerk Recorder and they said that they only record bonds that deal with property (as in real estate). I'm thinking a silver surety bond is miscellaneous property or personal property (as in an item). Any help would be appreciated. |

| What exactly do you mean by a "silver" surety bond?

| I'm doing this for my brother who is currently incarcerated, so I don't know the specifics of what he's trying to do. He's telling me that a silver surety bond is a bond that says that he owns 21 silver coins, in order to show that he is not bankrupt. He had the bond notarized and now he needs it to be recorded, but can't seem to find out how. |

| I have never heard of it. However, we don't write those types of surety bonds... You may want to speak to a bail bond agency.
