Probably the most basic bond you need is the Janitorial Services bond. These are very reasonable and can be written for terms of up to three years. This bond would protect your customers from losses incurred by dishonest acts of your employees. One bond would cover you for all work.
Beyond that - it's possible that you may be asked for a Performance Bond if you are doing work for a local municipality. If that is the case, these bonds would be issued on a contract to contract basis. Qualifying for this type of bond is a bit harder than the Janitorial Services bond as it guarantees your work.
