I currently pay child support, but as part of the child support order, I must have a life insurance policy in place. I am unable to obtain life insurance though due to my medical history. Is there a type of bond I can get in place of life insurance?

No, but if you ask your attorney to submit evidence of several declinations to the court, it would demonstrate the impossibility of the order. This is not an obligation that could be fulfilled by a surety bond - which is a credit instrument, not intended to act as insurance. Good luck.
