I've heard that some wedding planners have surety bonds. Have you ever heard of such a thing?

I suppose it's possible if the state they are in requires them to be licensed and have a bond. Otherwise, they may just have a fidelity bond of some sort. Chances are they are just saying they are bonded. When you plan yourwedding make sure that your planner can produce proof of a bond if they say they have one.
