    Does bond protect me?

    Hello,
    Does a surety bond protect me as a business owner in any way? What exactly will a bond do for me?

    Bond Protection

    A surety bond is protection for the obligee (the state, township, muncipality, etc)- not you as an individual or a company. It guarantees that you (the principle) will operate in compliance with the state, local and/or federal laws.
