Default Fire Damage to a tenant occupied home

My home was recently tenant occupied and involved in a fire. I am attempting to obtain my home improvement contractors license so that I will be allowed to restore my home that was destroyed in the fire. On this application, it has asked that I list an obligee, yet I can not list myself. Well, it is my home and I am applying for the license to complete this project. Is it possible to obtain the commercial surety bond that's needed?

Whoever is issuing your license is the Obligee. If it's the State, then the State is who the bond goes to. If it's the City - then the City gets the bond. Please feel free to re-visit our website to apply for the bond when you know who the Obligee is.
