| My home was recently tenant occupied and involved in a fire. I am attempting to obtain my home improvement contractors license so that I will be allowed to restore my home that was destroyed in the fire. On this application, it has asked that I list an obligee, yet I can not list myself. Well, it is my home and I am applying for the license to complete this project. Is it possible to obtain the commercial surety bond that's needed? |

Whoever is issuing your license is the Obligee. If it's the State, then the State is who the bond goes to. If it's the City - then the City gets the bond. Please feel free to re-visit our website to apply for the bond when you know who the Obligee is. |
