    Want to Replace Current Bond

I applied for a bond to replace the one I currently have through another company. I've been asked to fax in a blank copy of the bond form. Can I just fax in a copy of the bond I already have?

You sure can - as long as it's a current version of the bond form that is being accepted by the Obligee.

    Blank Bond Form

If you have a copy of your current bond - that would fine as well. The surety just needs to read the bond langauge to be sure it is acceptable.

    Replace Current Bond

Is it a good idea to let the agent know who I was bonded through previously?

It wouldn't be a bad idea. There are only so many companies who write certain types of bonds. It's possible that the company you were previously with is the only option for the new agent.
