    Public Adjuster that needs some help with a conviction

    I am applying to become a public adjuster and I will need to become bonded. However, I have a previous felony conviction for bribery while I was employed by the federal gov't. Will this prevent me from being bonded?

    Bond Guy - I may have misled you previously. I answered your question thinking you were referring to a public official bond - which cannot be obtained with a felony. However, if you are looking for a public adjuster license bond, it shouldn't be a problem.
