If I need a name change rider, do I have to send the original bond back to you? Will you then issue another bond with the updated company name on it, or will you issue a rider?

It's possible we will need the original bond back - it really depends upon what kind of name change you are needing and which Surety your bond is written with. Each Surety seems to have different requirements. It's best for you to speak with your bond representative to discuss your individual situation.
