Cancel My Bond?

I have a bond with JW and I want to cancel it. I am moving out of state and changing careers. I still have 6 months left on the bond. What do I need to do to cancel this bond? Is there any refund for the second part of the one year term? How soon can this be done?

Surety can be notified immediately to issue a cancellation notice for your bond. If this is the first year of the bond, there will most likely not be any return premium as first year's premium is generally earned in full. It's possible, depending upon the Surety, that if you are in the 2nd year of your bond there could be some return premium. Submit something in writing to your agent and it will be taken care of promptly.
