    Back-date Effective Date

I got my surety bond six months ago, and we didn't get our license until just recently. Can I change the effective date for when we actually got our license? I don't want to be losing any money.

It is sometimes possible to change an effective date. It depends upon which Surety the bond was issued with and whether or not you still have the original bond. Be in touch with your agent and they will be able to investigate this for you.
