We are a small mom and pop agency in Longmont, CO. We just started doing business with a new Surety Company. They approved an ICC Brokers bond for us about three month ago. They do not file electronically as all other markets do. The FMCSA supposedly came out with an up-dated bond form in June, but they don't have it on the web site. Have you heard anything about this and if so do you have the bond form? Thanks.
My understanding was that FMCSA is doing away with hard copy bonds and requiring all Surety companies to file electronically. Consequently, I have no copy of an updated bond form. If you would like to apply for a bond that will be filed electronically, please follow this link: ICC Freight Broker Bonds (BMC-84 Filing & BMC-85 Replacement) - Surety Bond TypesOriginally Posted by Bond Guy
