Fired for dishonesty in 2003 - Bondability

I was fired from a bank in early 2003 due to a dishonest act. No criminal charges were filed (clean record) and restitution was made immediately. How can I determine FOR SURE weather I am bondable or not? If not, can I purchase my own dishonesty bond to show to prospective employers?
