Default fidelity bond payment

can you recieve payment on a fidelity bond if you suspect an empoyee of embezzlement. but you cant prove it. then he is fired or quites and after it is all done some checks come up missing. if not why?

No.
For the policy to pay out- the suspected theif must be proven guilty in a court of law. Only then when the policy pay out for employee theft.

Typically, it must be proven in the courts prior to payment of a claim.
