Fidelity Help for existing Client.

I recenetly called your office and was told you are no longer writing Fidelity Bonds. I am a current client of your with 6 commercial bonds on file. Is there any way you can help me with this bond? It is a 100K Fidelity Bond for my Mortgage Brokerage in the state of Illinois.

Yes, we can help you. We do not offer these bonds anymore, but if you are a current client and you have other bonds with us, we can send you the application and we can get you a quote.

Unfortunately, our new policy is that we only issue these types of bonds for current clients and/or agents that we have been working with for quite some time.

Fidelity bonds are very easy to obtain - all your friend needs to do is perhaps contact a local insurance agency within his/her state and they should be able to get help from there.

Are these bonds affected by personal credit scores? The reason I ask is because I used your company for my Mortgage Broker Bond because my credit is terrible. My buddy is in the same boat with credit and must have this bond for his sub work.

These are basically the only types of bonds that we handle that are NOT based on personal credit. The premium is calculated by what chosen bond amount needed is as well as the number of employees and owners that there are.
