I posted a thread in the license section but wanted to know if you ever do employee dishonest bonds for house sitters? I just found out I needed to be bonded for my license and it was also strongly recommended that I get a employee dishonesty bond as well. Do you do those bonds and if so how does it work?
Employee Dishonesty bonds are designed to protect you if your employees steal from one of your customers or from your company. If you are the only "employee" - you can probably get the bond, but remember that the bond contains a conviction clause which means that you would have to be charged and convicted of theft before the bond would pay out. The bond does not cover if you break something in the house. You should probably get insurance coverage for that.Originally Posted by apprentice35
