I owe child support. Recently I was contacted by a child support agency that is talking about posting a bond for $3700.00. I have no idea how this works and the person that contacted me is more interested on threatining me than helping. I admitt I have been neglectful but several things have changed since that order was entered. At that time my income was around 30,000.00 per year. now it is about 18,000.00. My wife is now mentally disabled and depends on me for a lot of things. she does get a SS check for about 700.00. I want to make everything good. I want to pay this child support. Can anyone help me on this? My ph. 954-696-1799. I am available before 9 a.m. mon - fri and after 6:30p.m. and saturdays and sundays.
