Default obtaining a bond with a felony

My husband has a felony conviction from about 9 years ago. Is there a way to obtain a $300,000 bond for Guardianship of his father? If it is, what is the average cost?

Many bonding companies will not question whether or not you have had a felony. They tend to look at your credit past, no criminal past.
