Default Estate Bond No Longer Needed

I have an estate bond, but it is no longer needed. What documentation must I provide in order to close out the bond obligation.

If the bond is no longer required, the court should have issued an order indicating such. Forward that court order to your bond representative and they will forward to Surety to have your bond released.

If I just renewed the bond and get it released... will I be able to get a portion of my premium refunded?

Most likely, yes. Best to have a dialogue with your account representative to discuss the details. You will need to provide the court documentation releasing the bond.
