Probate Bond without a lawyer

I need a probate bond foe 120,900 for my mothers estate. I do not have an attorney and am doing this pro per. The probate is in Torrance California and I live in Albuquerque, NM.
Do you recommend I have a lawyer involved and will this aid me in getting a bond?

Yes - it will be difficult for you to obtain a bond without an attorney. Not sure what you mean by "pro per" - but unless you have excellent personal credit, an attorney will be required.
