Default Help with Child Support with a Bond?

I need some information of types of surety bonds. Specifically, is it possible for a person to retain a surety bond for a complete child support obligation. [I.e., person pays the obligation, should they fail, the bond will cover?] Please provide me with any information you can.

This is not an obligation that can or would be bonded by a surety company. As described, it would be an insurance policy. Without fully collateralizing the proposed bond, there would be no incentive to the bond company to insert itself into this scenario.

The closest product available is called a Child Custody Bond. That Bond guarantees compliance with the custody and visitation aspects of a divorce settlement. It is normally required by the Court on behalf of one party when the other party requests to take the minor child(ren) out of the Country. However, there have been instances when the trip is simply out of State. The Bond would pay out to the custodial parent in the event that the other parent does not return the child(ren) per the marital settlement agreement. However, as Marietta so beautifully mentioned, the Bond would need to be fully cash collateralized as well.
