Default Oregon Blank Bond

I was trying to hunt down my blank bond form for my Contractor License Bond for the state of Oregon but the said they won't send it to me directly. Is this common and how do I get it?

It's true that Oregon will only supply the bond form to the surety agency. So give your agent a call and confirm they have it on file. There are 2 different bond forms however - Residential Construction and Commercial Construction - so you will need to specify which one you are applying for. If you are applying for a dual license endorsement, then the State requires you to obtain both the Residential and Commercial Construction Bonds, so also let your agent know if that is the case.
