I am a contractor in Virginia who is looking to start up a satelite company in Washington D.C. I understand that you only write bonds in the fifty states, so does this apply at all? I don't even know if a license bond is required but I want to investigate the situation. Have you heard about this situation before?
I would suggest checking with the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs - Business and Professional Licensing Administration in DC. They will be able to tell you whether or not a bond would be required and the amount.Originally Posted by grasshopper
