Default State Requirements

I just moved to PA and will be looking to do some work in PA and surrounding states. Which states (PA, NJ, NY, DE, MD) require a bond in order to get licensed?

I would recommend you check with each state in which you want to do work to see if they require a specific bond. Certain types of licenses may require bonds. For example, I believe electrical contractors need to be bonded in New Jersey and I don't believe there is a contractor license bond for Pennsylvania. As I said - check with each state or municipality to see what their requirements are.
